Not Far From The Tree Movie Premier

The movie’s finished, thanks to Ken Peck and Isaac Lane!

Our premiere was held on Friday evening, April 18, right here at the orchard. Almost 100 people gathered in the Cider House on the most perfect springtime evening that anyone could imagine. Wine flowed, music was provided by Robert Resnik and Barbara Wager, food from area farms was tasted, and local stars in the film were applauded. Special thanks to Lake Champlain Chocolates, Pizza on Earth, Shelburne Farms, Shelburne Vineyard, and Sweet Basil Cards for donations to either the fare or the raffle.

Thanks to everyone who helped with this project and supports their local farmers and musicians. And we’ve been able to prove that any community can organize a celebration like the Small Farms Food Fest!
