We've finished our movie, thanks to Ken Peck and Isaac Lane!

Titled "Not Far From the Tree", this film's about a community celebration at our annual Small Farms Food Fest and the 'Buy Local' movement that continues to grow around the country. In short, Nick wants to "inspire other communities to celebrate where their food comes from".

Our goal is to educate folks about sustainable agriculture, the importance of saving farms, and the natural link between food and music. And as gas prices continue to rise, people will look closer to home for education and entertainment. That's why something similar to our Vermont Small farms Food Fest could be replicated anywhere in the country. It gives all of us the opportunity to meet the farmer behind the farm, the musician behind the music.

So, here are the three options for seeing the full-length film:
1. Our first choice, of course, is for you to pay for your very own copy at $17.50 (including shipping).

2. You may view "Not Far From the Tree" on our website in its entirety.
3. More than anything, we want to have "Not Far From the Tree" shown and shared, so if you'd like a copy and can't afford one, please contact Megan at meganh@sover.net or call 864-7528 and she'll send one along to you.

Thanks to everyone who helped with this project and supports their local farmers and musicians!
