Our
orchard opens for "PICK YOUR OWN" every
year during the latter part of August. We reserve
one whole section---none of our professional pickers
are allowed. The trees are 80-100 years old and produce
some of the best McIntosh apples you'll find anywhere
in the world. A 5 lb. bag costs $5, a half-bushel
is $15, and you can pick a whole bushel for $26.
As the season progresses, many other varieties are
available
(Please see the complete
list under "Orchard".). We also have fresh
cider, Ginger
Jack, Ginger Cider, cider doughnuts, caramel
apples, apple pies and more
for sale. As you drive past the cider mill,
you won't
be able to resist the smell of cider doughnuts cooking.
We make the best regular and cinnamon sugar cider
doughnuts fresh every day. So pack a picnic, grab
the kids, forget everything else you need to do,
and come on down! Gather under a tree and spend the
day. You can always get back to real life tomorrow!
