Hi this is Nick.. welcome to my weekly ramble.. I'll be expounding on some of the things that are happening this week at the orchard. Please feel free to email any questions or thoughts of your own...

Tuesday, October 16 - 4:00pm

The apples are starting to fall... not too far from the trees.. the air is full of the smell of cider. Apple pies are in the oven.. and the donuts are still spilling off the end of the donut machine. life is good here at the orchard.. We are picking the late season apples as the harvest is in it's last stages. We will have apple picking and the orchard store will be open here up to Halloween. Senior citizens days are Oct 18th and 19th, but you can still get these prices till we close for the year.. and truckload Saturday starts on Saturday the 20th.. but also that means it starts then.. you can get this $50 a truckload for drops from that day on till we close.

For those people who want to ship apples: We have the shipping containers here, you buy the box from us, then either pick your own or buy them at the store, then send them yourself however you want. It's a great present to send to someone who has lived here and can't get good apples wherever they have gone to. ....Nick
