#47 - Golden Gala, Apple Tree - 2.25" Caliper


This is a 2.25” caliper (trunk diameter) golden gala apple tree.

Also known as Blondee or Yellow Gala, this early variety is sweet and crunchy with smooth skin and bruise-resistant flesh. Its yellow skin occasionally blushes pink/red in areas on the tree exposed to sunlight. Good for eating fresh or in desserts. Discovered in 1998 in Ohio. Ripens mid- to late-August or early September. Best pollinators: Granny Smith or any Golden Delicious.
