Queen City Cut Ups is an exciting acoustic band representing Burlington, VT. Their music blends bluegrass, cajun, country, swing, and old-time into the collective ‘Americana’ sound. Emma Cook is a songwriter, vocalist, and music educator creating in Burlington, Vermont. In 2018 she began leading classes of music and movement for kiddos under five and their caregivers with Music for Sprouts in Shelburne, VT. While the classroom closed in the fall of 2021, Emma continues to bring this joyful original music to libraries, performance spaces, festivals, and preschools throughout Vermont. Come on out to the front porch of the donut house to hear some lovely and raucous music on a Wednesday afternoon! The Meatpackers are basically local celebrities. They have been playing together for decades and honestly have so much fun doing so, it’s contagious. They like to call their music a mix of bluegrass, gospel and redneck, with vocal harmonies, guitar, mandolin, stand-up-base, lap steel and the occasional fiddle.

Mayfly, Americana/Old-time duo, is a Vermont based band that performs old-time New England and Appalachian music, as well as original songwriting on guitar, fiddle, mandolin, banjo and vocals.  Mayfly has been performing for over 12 years, touring throughout the USA and Canada.  Mayfly intersperses close harmony vocals with strong instrumentals influenced by blues, ballads, and American roots music.  

Carol of the Fun Factor is coming out to the orchard to tell a fun and interactive story with you all called Stone Soup. She will bring props and include all who want to join to participate in and enjoy this fun and adventurous tale.

Join us for this international gathering of Taiko Drummers! Enjoy the apple harvest while you listen to the drums echo through the orchard.

We perform Celtic and Traditional Folk songs and Tunes as well as original compositions, using Guitar, Mandolin, Bouzouki, Cuatro Octave-Mandolin, Celtic Harp, Harmonica, Claw-hammer banjo, and more.

Songs and tunes seem to carry their own power over the years, surviving for hundreds of years. We feel lucky to steward them forward in our own unique way.

Come on out for a picture book read aloud with local author Lindsey Stoddard! She will bring a few of her favorite picture books and read them on the ‘orchard main stage’ in the pick-your-own section of the orchard. Ride the wagon from the parking lot to find her at the pick-your-own!

Hot Pickin' Party is a bluegrass band comprised of guitarist Doug Perkins, bassist Mike Santosusso, and dobro player Adam Frehm. The trio first appeared on the Vermont music scene over 25 years ago as the core members of the popular newgrass jamband Smokin' Grass who released two critically acclaimed full length recordings, appeared on numerous cd complications, and toured nationally, performing in over 30 states. Hot Pickin’ Party’s music celebrates the reunion of these three musicians with heartfelt harmonies, dynamic musical interplay and a spirit of exploration of journeys old and new. At a Hot Pickin' Party performance you'll hear a mix of original songs, traditional bluegrass songs, familiar yet eclectic classic covers and the occasional completely improvised jam. A Hot Pickin' Party show is hot and cool, fun and funny, and always a party.

Singer songwriter Charlie Schramm hails from Shelburne, VT. He plays a mix of folk, indie, classic rock, and his own music. He has been performing live since 2015, and writing his own songs since 2017. He is a youth musician who's ready to share good times and sunshine with you!
